Job Summary
This role at the North Rhine-Westphalia Regional Finance Office (OFD NRW) offers a unique opportunity to shape the digital future of German public administration. Based in either Münster or Cologne, you will lead the conceptual development, coordination, and management of AI projects designed to optimize and automate governmental processes. Your day-to-day will involve analyzing modern AI tools, identifying high-impact use cases, and acting as a vital bridge between technical IT departments and functional business requirements. You will manage projects from initial prototyping through to full-scale rollout while advising senior leadership on emerging technological trends. Required Skills
Education
University Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Administrative Informatics, or a comparable field with a focus on AI and Organization.
Experience
- Professional experience in leading complex technical or AI-related projects from conception to rollout
- Demonstrated experience in the application and evaluation of AI technologies such as Machine Learning or NLP
- Experience in data management and analytical processing
- Experience in advising management and conducting technical workshops or training sessions
- Preferred experience within the public sector or regulated organizational environments
