Job Summary
As a Design & Prototyping Engineer at milon industries GmbH, you will be at the heart of developing innovative fitness and medical training equipment. Your daily activities will bridge the gap between digital design and physical creation, involving the construction of individual components using CAD tools and the hands-on assembly of prototypes in the metal workshop. You will collaborate closely with product management and testing teams to ensure that every machine meets high standards for biomechanics and ergonomics. This role is unique because it requires a blend of technical engineering expertise and a personal passion for strength training, allowing you to apply your own gym experience to the development of next-generation training systems. The position offers a dynamic environment with flat hierarchies and the opportunity to see your designs move from initial concept to full-scale production.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in metalworking plus further qualification as a State-Certified Mechanical Engineering Technician or a comparable degree.
Experience
- Professional experience in metalworking and mechanical assembly
- Practical experience in strength training and gym environments to understand movement patterns
- Experience in the construction of assemblies and individual components using CAD software
- Experience in taking products from the prototyping phase to series production
