Job Summary

As a Transformer Development Engineer in Verden, you will be responsible for the conception, design, and simulation of power electronic components, specifically focusing on transformers, power supplies, inductors, and EMC filters. Your day-to-day activities involve hardware development, including circuit design, component selection, and prototype verification using laboratory equipment like oscilloscopes and power analyzers. You will play a key role in building technological platforms for new power supply architectures and collaborating closely with software teams and research institutions. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and possesses deep knowledge of power electronics and simulation tools. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience as an engineer in the development of transformers is required
  • Experience in the design and simulation of power electronic components (converters, drivers, protection circuits)
  • Experience with technological platforms for power supply architectures and hardware layout
  • Proven experience in hardware verification through measurement and testing procedures
  • Experience in collaborative project work with universities or research institutions
  • Experience in validating and qualifying prototypes for series production
