Job Summary
As a PLC Programmer within the automation team at BUDERUS Schleiftechnik, you will be responsible for the software-side execution of demanding machine projects. Your daily tasks involve creating and maintaining PLC programs for Siemens SIMATIC S7-300 and S7-1500 systems using Step7 and TIA Portal (V15-V18). You will manage internal and external interfaces for automation stations, parameterize HMI user interfaces, and handle on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and process optimization at international customer locations. This role is highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with electrical and mechanical design departments. The position is particularly attractive due to its 35-hour work week under a collective agreement, 30 days of annual leave, and the opportunity to work within the globally recognized DVS TECHNOLOGY GROUP. Required Skills
Education
State-certified Technician in Automation Technology or equivalent qualification; completed vocational training as an Electrical Technician or Mechatronics Engineer.
Experience
- Professional experience as an Electrical Technician or Mechatronics Engineer
- Practical experience in PLC programming using FBD, STL, and SCL
- Experience in software commissioning and process optimization in an international environment
- Experience in creating and coordinating internal and external machine interfaces
- Experience in customer instruction and service support
