Job Summary

In this role, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers regarding the 'Alarm Control Center' management system. Your daily responsibilities include providing technical advice via telephone, email, and remote access, as well as conducting software and system tests. You will also support the sales team with technical inquiries and occasionally perform on-site customer support. The position is based in Stuttgart and offers a collaborative atmosphere with a focus on alarm management and control technology for the automotive industry. This role is unique for its blend of internal support and field service, providing a 35-hour work week, flexible working hours, and the opportunity for 'workations' within Europe. It is initially a 12-month contract with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent position.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in IT System Electronics, System Management, or System Integration; or a degree in Computer Science, IT Management, Software Development, or equivalent qualification such as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker).

Experience

  • Professional experience in technical IT support and IT customer service
  • Experience in handling Microsoft SQL Server environments
  • Experience in telecommunications is considered an advantage
  • Professional experience in Windows Client and Server operating systems
