Job Summary
As a Systems Technician at the Bavarian Red Cross (BRK) in Munich, you will join a dedicated IT Services team supporting over 10,000 users. Your primary responsibility involves managing the full lifecycle of IT support requests, from initial contact to resolution. You will handle First and Second-Level support via telephone, email, and a ticketing system, performing rapid analysis and classification of technical issues. For complex matters, you will act as a structured interface, forwarding cases to specialized colleagues while ensuring seamless communication. This role is ideal for service-oriented professionals who enjoy independent problem-solving and cross-location collaboration. The position offers a fair collective agreement salary (Group 10), hybrid working models, and a structured onboarding process within one of Bavaria's most significant humanitarian organizations. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a comparable technical field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience in First and Second-Level IT support
- Practical experience in using and managing IT ticketing systems
- Demonstrated experience in structured troubleshooting and fault analysis
- Experience in professional telephone and written communication with end-users
- Proven ability to work independently in a solution-oriented manner
