Job Summary

As a Cyber Security Analyst & Engineer, you will serve as a lead 3rd level analyst responsible for analyzing and coordinating security events while actively participating in incident response situations. This dual role involves both defensive operations and engineering, where you will plan, implement, and evolve the IT security infrastructure. A significant portion of your daily work will focus on automating detection and response workflows ('Detection & Response as Code') and incident response runbooks within a SOAR platform. You will also act as a mentor to junior team members, sharing your expertise in security operations. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed degree in Computer Science or vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker).

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in Security Operations (SOC)
  • Proven experience in the analysis and forensics of Microsoft infrastructures
  • Experience with security technologies such as SOAR, EDR/EPP, SIEM, and NDR/IDS/IPS
  • Practical experience in automation and developing Incident Response Run Books
  • Experience in mentoring and knowledge transfer within a technical team
