This role involves supporting the 'Urban Development and Construction Technology' department at the State Office for Building and Transport (LBV) in Brandenburg. You will be responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of urban development funding programs, managing and analyzing complex datasets, and maintaining relational databases. The position is central to spatial observation and urban monitoring, requiring a blend of urban planning knowledge and data science skills. You will work closely with municipal and state authorities to ensure effective data management for housing and urban development strategies. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or University of Applied Sciences degree in Geography, Urban and Regional Planning, Data Science, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in data management and analysis of relational databases
  • Experience in project management within a professional context
  • Practical experience or knowledge in urban development, integrated urban planning, or housing policy
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluating funding programs is highly desirable
  • Experience using GIS software for spatial data analysis is an advantage
