Job Summary
As an IT Specialist for Systems Integration at J.W. Ostendorf, a leading European provider of paints and coatings, you will take a central role in managing the company's network infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities include the planning, configuration, and implementation of Aruba LAN/WLAN environments, covering everything from switches to network controllers. You will also be the primary expert for security solutions, managing ClearPass NAC policies and WatchGuard firewall systems to protect the enterprise network. Beyond maintenance, you will perform security analyses, troubleshoot complex network issues, and act as a technical interface for the user support team. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for Systems Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- 3-5 years of practical experience in the IT environment with a focus on network security and operations
- Professional experience in planning and implementing LAN/WLAN infrastructures
- Proven experience with products from HPE/Aruba or WatchGuard
- Experience in managing network security policies and firewall optimization
