Job Summary

As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in reimagining electronics by shaping the entire development lifecycle of power supply units, ballasts, and lighting systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve taking electronic assemblies from initial concept through to conformity assessment, which includes creating detailed circuit diagrams and layouts. You will work within a highly competent team to conduct reviews, commissioning, and pre-compliance EMC testing in an in-house laboratory. Additionally, you will simulate environmental influences on assemblies to ensure durability and performance. This position is particularly attractive because it offers end-to-end project ownership and access to specialized in-house simulation and testing facilities. The role is based in Linz and operates within an agile, collaborative environment that encourages independent work and professional growth.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (e.g., Higher Technical Institute/HTL, University of Applied Sciences/FH, or University)

Experience

  • Professional experience in electronics development, specifically with digital and RF circuits
  • Experience in creating circuit diagrams and PCB layouts
  • Practical experience with EMC measurement techniques and testing
  • Experience in developing power supply units or lighting components is preferred
