Job Summary

This role involves working in a modern soil mechanics laboratory at the Schwarze Pumpe site, where you will be responsible for the independent execution of laboratory tests on various soil samples, including sands, gravels, clays, and silts. Your daily activities will range from conducting sieve analyses to complex triaxial tests, as well as taking and processing soil samples. You will also assist with geotechnical and geophysical field investigations and handle the technical evaluation of test results. A key part of the position includes the regular maintenance, calibration, and monitoring of measuring equipment. This position is particularly attractive due to its focus on future-oriented projects like open-cast mine reclamation and renewable energy infrastructure.
