Job Summary
As a Process Engineer at VDM Metals, the global market leader in nickel alloys, you will be responsible for the continuous analysis and optimization of production workflows at the Werdohl site. Your daily activities involve overseeing manufacturing processes to enhance quality and economic efficiency, coordinating operational trials for new product development, and acting as a vital technical liaison between production, quality management, R&D, and supply chain departments. You will manage diverse projects within the wire division, from initial planning to implementation and controlling, while maintaining critical technical documentation and master data. Required Skills
Education
University degree in a technical field (e.g., Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Forming Technology) or a Technician qualification with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in a manufacturing company within the metal processing industry
- Experience in the analysis and optimization of production processes
- Experience in coordinating and evaluating operational trials for product development
- Experience in project controlling and operative project management
- Experience in forming technology (Umformtechnik) is highly desirable
