Job Summary

As a Sales Manager for the Energy Transition at AVAT, you will play a pivotal role in driving decentralized and sustainable energy solutions across Central and Northern Germany. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the end-to-end sales process, from initial needs analysis and strategic offer creation to contract negotiation. You will act as a key consultant for municipal utilities, contractors, and industrial companies seeking to achieve decarbonization goals through smart control systems. Working within a 7-person Sales & Business Development team, you will collaborate with product management to refine market strategies and pioneer new business models. This role is particularly attractive due to its high degree of autonomy, offering a 'New Work' environment with primary home-office flexibility and the opportunity to be a visible face of innovation in a rapidly evolving green energy sector.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical degree, ideally specializing in Energy Technology or Renewable Energies.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in sales or business development within the energy sector
  • Proven track record of managing the entire sales process chain independently
  • Existing professional network within the German energy market is highly preferred
  • Experience working with municipal utilities, contractors, or industrial energy consumers
