Job Summary
As the Team Lead for Electrical and Automation, you will be responsible for the technical leadership and organization of a team of electricians and mechatronics technicians. Your daily activities involve coordinating troubleshooting for PLC systems, robotics, and drives, as well as prioritizing maintenance and repair tasks to ensure maximum plant availability. You will act as a bridge between production and maintenance, organizing scheduled shutdowns and overseeing external contractors. Beyond operational tasks, you will drive technical improvements, energy optimization, and digitalization initiatives. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys solving complex technical problems while fostering the professional development and motivation of their team. The position offers a permanent contract and the opportunity to take significant responsibility for safety, quality, and automation efficiency within a modern industrial production environment.
Required Skills
Education
Master Electrician (Elektromeister), State-certified Technician in Automation Technology, or Mechatronics degree
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Initial leadership experience, ideally within a shift-based operation
- Practical experience in troubleshooting complex electrical and mechatronic systems
- Experience in coordinating external service providers and contractors
