Job Summary

As an IT Service Technician, you will provide critical on-site and remote support for client workstations at a major automotive manufacturer's facility in Ingolstadt. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve managing the full lifecycle of hardware, including the processing of Break/Fix, IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change), and Hands & Eyes tickets. You will be responsible for supporting Windows-based devices such as laptops and workstations, ensuring that all tasks align with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This role is particularly attractive as it offers a long-term perspective with a clear path toward permanent employment at the client company. You will work within a structured environment with predictable working hours and have the opportunity to handle technical escalation management. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration, IT Systems Electronics Technician, IT Systems Support Specialist, or a comparable qualification).

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in supporting Windows workstations, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Experience in hardware deployment and software support specifically within MS Office environments
  • Practical experience in processing technical tickets and following SLA protocols
  • Experience in remote support and troubleshooting for distributed client locations

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license required. Position is initially via temporary employment with an option for permanent takeover. Must be able to work on-site in Ingolstadt.
