Job Summary
As a Technical Property Management Assistant at the RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research, you will play a vital role in maintaining the operational integrity of the institute's facilities. Your daily responsibilities include performing general maintenance, conducting technical inspections, and executing small repairs, with a specific focus on electrical safety checks (E-Checks). You will also coordinate external contractors, manage outdoor area upkeep including winter services, and handle the logistical setup of office and conference spaces. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a background in electrical trades or a similar technical field. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in electrical trades (e.g., Electrician) or a comparable skilled worker qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical trades or a comparable skilled worker qualification
- Experience in performing technical maintenance and statutory electrical safety inspections
- Experience in coordinating and supervising external service providers
- Demonstrated manual dexterity and technical problem-solving skills

- The position is initially limited to 2 years with the aim of permanent employment. Candidates must be willing to perform physical tasks including winter services and furniture moving. Compensation is according to TV-L up to EG 7.
