Job Summary
As the Head of Vehicle Electronics, you will spearhead the technical leadership of teams across multiple locations for a renowned engineering firm. Your daily responsibilities involve a blend of high-level management and hands-on technical execution, including control system development and programming, EPLAN design, and wiring harness construction. You will be responsible for process optimization, user interface design, and the creation of comprehensive technical documentation. This role is unique because it offers the opportunity to bridge the gap between complex electrical engineering and strategic leadership, providing support to cross-functional teams while ensuring risk assessments are accurately conducted. It is an ideal position for an experienced engineer looking to manage large-scale technical operations within the automotive or specialized vehicle sector.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree with a focus on Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in vehicle electronics is highly advantageous
- Experience in cross-location technical team leadership
- Proven experience in programming and developing control systems
- Professional experience in electrical design using EPLAN
- Experience in risk assessment and process optimization
- Experience working with ERP systems
