Job Summary

As an IT Security Engineer at Ruhrbahn GmbH, the largest public transport provider in the Ruhr area, you will play a critical role in securing the IT infrastructure of essential public services. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the configuration, administration, and monitoring of firewall and VPN solutions, alongside ensuring high system availability and network design. You will act as a technical consultant for IT security projects, evaluate security logs, and support network administration. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical management of security systems and strategic development of the security landscape.
