Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position at the University of Oldenburg involves managing and developing SAP HCM applications within a hybrid environment. As a key member of the Application Support team, you will play a vital role in the university's transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. Your daily responsibilities will include requirement management, customizing, and developing functionalities using ABAP and Java. You will provide second-level support for HR-IT applications, ensuring legal compliance through regular support packages and technical updates. Additionally, you will lead IT projects, create application documentation, and conduct user training. This role is ideal for a communicative professional who enjoys collaborative problem-solving and technical optimization. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor's or Master's) or completed vocational training in a relevant field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in SAP module development, specifically within SAP HCM
  • Practical experience in SAP HCM customizing across at least two areas: Personnel Administration, Payroll, Time Management, or Organizational Management
  • Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP NetWeaver, and ABAP/Java development
  • Experience in leading and controlling IT projects or project-like tasks
  • Experience in 2nd level incident and change management
