Job Summary
As an Energy Data Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in monitoring and balancing gas and electricity energy volumes. Your daily responsibilities include validating incoming and outgoing energy data to generate high-quality customer consumption forecasts, communicating with grid operators and market partners, and overseeing balancing group accounts. You will be responsible for analyzing settlement deviations, calculating quantity differences, and coordinating the rollout of intelligent metering systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to act as a central interface between sales, grid billing, and external partners. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the field of Energy, Technology, IT, or an equivalent professional qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience within the energy industry is required
- Practical knowledge of energy market regulations such as MaBiS, GPKE, and WiM
- Experience in handling complex energy data sets and consumption forecasting
- Proven track record in communicating with grid operators and market partners
- Experience with industry-specific software like Schleupen or Kisters is preferred
