As a System Performance Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of vehicle interiors by ensuring that infotainment systems operate with maximum stability, speed, and efficiency. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve optimizing system performance at both the application and overall system levels, including tuning operating systems, drivers, and system startup processes. You will monitor resource consumption, analyze crashes and performance bottlenecks, and collaborate closely with testing teams and software suppliers to stabilize and improve the system architecture. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science, training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker), or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in Embedded Software Development using C/C++
  • Extensive experience with Linux/Unix system environments including Kernel and Userspace
  • Proven experience in analyzing system crashes, memory leaks, and kernel traces
  • Experience in collaborating with software suppliers and cross-functional test teams
  • Experience with Android system architecture and resource management tools
