Job Summary

This role at the State Office for Environment, Nature Conservation, and Geology (LUNG M-V) in Stralsund (moving to Rostock in 2027) is for a dedicated Laboratory Technician specializing in radioactivity monitoring. Initially, the role involves covering radiochemical work and low-level measurements until October 2025. From November 2025 onwards, the focus shifts to performing radiochemical and wet-chemical procedures, alongside providing technical assistance for laboratory, measurement, quality management, and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a vocational degree in a scientific-technical field, demonstrated professional experience, and strong German language skills at a C1 level. Experience in ultratrace analysis, radiochemistry, and radiation protection is highly desirable, making this a unique opportunity to contribute to environmental analysis and protection in Germany.
