Job Summary
As an Electrical and Building Services Engineer for the state enterprise Vermögen und Bau Baden-Württemberg, you will take on a pivotal role as the owner's representative and project manager for state-owned real estate. Your daily responsibilities include specialized planning, construction management, and maintenance oversight for a diverse range of technical systems, including power supply, low-current installations, information technology, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and plumbing). You will act as a consultant for state agencies and manage external engineering firms to ensure high-quality delivery. A unique aspect of this role is the focus on implementing energy and climate protection concepts for public properties, contributing directly to the community's welfare. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Diploma, Bachelor, or Master) in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field; or a qualified Technician in a relevant specialization.
Experience
- Professional experience in specialist planning and construction management for electrical or building services systems
- Experience in managing external engineering firms and providing technical consultancy
- Practical knowledge in building maintenance for large-scale real estate portfolios
- Demonstrated ability in economic thinking and goal-oriented project execution
