SOLAR MATERIALS
Job Summary
As a Chemist at SOLAR MATERIALS, a pioneering Cleantech startup in Magdeburg, you will play a central role in the Research and Development (R&D) department. Your daily responsibilities involve planning, executing, and evaluating experimental series focused on the recycling of photovoltaic (PV) modules. You will specifically investigate delamination processes and adhesion mechanisms between glass, polymers, and solar cell surfaces to optimize material recovery. The role bridges the gap between laboratory-scale research and industrial pilot-line integration. This position is particularly attractive as it offers the opportunity to pursue a cooperative doctorate (PhD) in collaboration with Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and Fraunhofer CSP. You will work in a sustainable, mission-driven environment focused on creating a circular economy for the solar industry, utilizing state-of-the-art experimental infrastructure while contributing to real-world industrial impact.
