Job Summary
As the Team Lead for Testing and Assembly, you will take on a pivotal role managing a production team of 15 to 20 employees within a specialized medical technology environment. Your daily responsibilities involve both disciplinary and technical leadership, ensuring that production processes run smoothly while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will act as a central interface between production staff, management, and customers, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Beyond administrative tasks like capacity planning and employee development, you will remain hands-on, supporting the line with technical tasks such as visual solder joint inspections. This position is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a quality-driven industry and enjoys a mix of strategic process optimization and direct operational involvement. The role offers a permanent contract, 30 days of vacation, and the opportunity to work on life-saving medical products.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering or mechatronics. IPC-A-610 certification is desirable.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a production environment
- Initial leadership experience in a professional setting
- Professional experience in electrotechnical or mechatronic fields
- Experience in process analysis and continuous improvement (CIP)

- Must be able to perform visual solder joint inspections. Position requires on-site presence in Aßlar, Germany. Permanent full-time contract.
