Job Summary
This role involves taking full internal responsibility for the financial accounting of a small corporate group consisting of six capital companies, including e-commerce and retail entities. On a day-to-day basis, you will manage accounts receivable and payable, handle general ledger accounting, and process booking imports from shop systems and payment providers like PayPal. You will be responsible for monthly closings, VAT advance returns, and preparing year-end documentation for the tax advisor. The position is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys working independently and with high precision. Required Skills
Education
Commercial vocational training or qualification as a Tax Assistant (Steuerfachangestellte/r) is welcome, but professional experience is prioritized over formal degrees.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
- Proven experience working with capital companies (Kapitalgesellschaften)
- Practical experience in performing monthly closings independently
- Experience handling high document volumes and digital document processes
- Experience with e-commerce or payment service provider accounting
