Job Summary
As an Environmental and Process Engineer at AVA in Augsburg, you will play a vital role in managing waste treatment for over one million people while contributing to renewable energy production. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the supervision and continuous development of environmental and energy management systems, overseeing permit management, and ensuring compliance with waste and environmental laws. You will lead projects focused on plant maintenance and optimization, conduct internal audits, and provide training on environmental topics. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Professional experience in environmental or process engineering is desirable but not strictly required (entry-level candidates are considered)
- Experience in supervising environmental and energy management systems
- Experience in managing regulatory permits and legal compliance within the environmental sector
- Experience in conducting internal audits and professional training sessions
