Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineer at GULLERT & WILKE, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and commissioning of control systems for mechanical and plant engineering projects. Your daily activities will include creating PLC programs using Siemens S7 and TIA Portal, designing HMI visualizations with WinCC, and parameterizing drive systems from Siemens and SEW. A significant portion of the role involves conducting functional tests and performing independent commissioning of both hardware and software, both in-house and at international customer sites. This position offers a high degree of autonomy, providing technical support via service hotlines and managing the project planning of drive systems. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Technician with further qualification as a State-Certified Electrical Technician, or a University Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering, specifically within automation or mechanical engineering
- Proven experience in programming Siemens S5/S7 and TIA Portal systems
- Practical experience in the parameterization and commissioning of drive systems (Siemens/SEW)
- Experience in creating plant visualizations using WinCC
- Demonstrated ability to perform independent commissioning of machinery at international client sites
