Job Summary

As a Business Unit Manager at Omexom Frankenluk GmbH, you will lead a division of approximately 80 employees, reporting directly to the Divisional Management. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve overseeing the economic success of the unit, managing a diverse project portfolio, and driving strategic long-term planning. You will be responsible for both technical and disciplinary leadership, fostering talent development while ensuring high standards of occupational safety and quality management. A significant portion of the role focuses on proactive market analysis, customer relationship management, and the acquisition of innovative new projects. This position is ideal for an entrepreneurial leader who enjoys high levels of responsibility and decision-making freedom within a large, internationally growing energy infrastructure group. You will manage profit and loss, oversee equipment investments, and ensure efficient billing processes, all while contributing to the sustainable growth of regional and national energy networks.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy or Utility Network Construction, or a comparable academic/professional qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in construction-related project business or managing large-scale projects
  • Several years of proven technical and disciplinary leadership experience
  • Multi-year experience with cost center and Profit & Loss responsibility in a productive project environment
  • Demonstrated track record in independent customer acquisition, offer negotiation, and contract closing
