Job Summary
As an IT Support Engineer at Akkodis, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-level technical support globally. Your daily responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, servers, and mobile devices, primarily within Windows 10 and 11 environments. You will utilize modern tools like Azure, Intune, and ServiceNow to manage user accounts and resolve technical tickets. Beyond standard office support, you will provide specialized technical assistance for laboratory and mechanical testing environments, manage on-site walk-up support centers, and maintain conference room technologies. This position is ideal for proactive problem-solvers who enjoy a mix of remote support and hands-on asset management. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational IT training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or a degree in Computer Science or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience in 1st and 2nd level IT support, with 3rd level experience preferred
- Practical experience using Azure AD, Intune, and ServiceNow
- Demonstrated experience in error analysis and application support within Windows environments
- Experience in IT asset management, inventory control, and processing change requests
- Experience with VoIP troubleshooting and Avaya telephony systems
Languages
Additional
- Must be able to provide on-site walk-up support and manage physical IT equipment/inventory. Role involves supporting global symposia and specialized laboratory environments.
