Job Summary
As an IT Systems Engineer & Administrator in Schwertberg, you will be the primary steward of the company's Microsoft-centric infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities involve the administration and strategic development of Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams. You will ensure operational excellence by managing Intune for mobile devices, overseeing Windows client security, and handling automated software distribution and patch management. A key part of the role involves using PowerShell to automate repetitive tasks and collaborating with both First Level Support and various departments on infrastructure projects. This position is particularly attractive due to its modern work environment, offering a blend of onsite amenities like a gym and pool, flexible working hours with home office options (up to 100% remote possible), and a collaborative team culture focused on continuous IT optimization.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training (Apprenticeship) or High School Diploma (Matura) with a technical focus.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT or System Administration
- Proven experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft 365
- Experience in Client Management, Patching, and Security operations
- Experience in automating tasks using PowerShell scripting
- Experience working in a team-oriented and service-focused environment
