In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration and maintenance of hardware devices used within development and testing laboratories. Your daily activities will involve configuring devices, performing necessary repairs, and upgrading both hardware and software components to ensure systems are up to date. A significant portion of the role involves inventory management and close coordination with various departments that utilize these devices. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys hands-on work with complex electronics and fine mechanical components. The role offers an attractive above-average compensation package for qualified candidates and provides the opportunity to work in a high-tech laboratory environment in Munich for a duration of up to 24 months.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician (Elektroniker). Further qualification as a State-Certified Technician or Master Craftsman (Techniker/Meister) is advantageous.

Experience

  • Professional experience in handling SMD electronic components and fine mechanical devices
  • Proven experience in SMD soldering
  • Experience with complex electronics such as FPGAs and Embedded Systems is preferred
  • Experience in device configuration and hardware/software upgrades
  • This is not an entry-level position; prior professional experience is mandatory
