Job Summary

As a Systems Electronics Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the lifecycle of complex technical systems, moving from initial conceptualization to full implementation. Your daily responsibilities include developing hardware components and communication networks, ensuring their seamless integration into the overall system architecture. You will be responsible for selecting and evaluating system components based on technical and economic criteria, as well as defining wiring specifications for large-scale equipment like electronic cabinets. The role involves significant analytical work, including requirement analysis, system design, and the configuration and testing of system networks. You will also support project management by providing cost-to-complete estimates and maintaining project schedules. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Communications Engineering, Power Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification (e.g., State-certified Technician with additional specialized knowledge).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the analysis and design of distributed systems
  • Experience in hardware development and the selection/evaluation of system components
  • Experience in creating wiring specifications and technical documentation for large-scale electronic equipment
  • Experience in configuring and testing system networks and performing functional controls during environmental testing
  • Experience in project management support, specifically in schedule maintenance and cost estimation
