Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and modification of industrial plants and systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve drafting technical specifications (Lastenhefte), developing control systems, and ensuring all designs comply with VDE regulations. You will act as a key technical liaison, managing external service providers and overseeing construction progress from installation through to final commissioning. This role is highly diverse, covering everything from machine power supply to building technology infrastructure. What makes this position unique is the stability of a permanent contract with a structured collective bargaining agreement, combined with the opportunity to work on varied engineering projects across multiple industrial sectors. It is an ideal role for a technical professional who enjoys a mix of conceptual design, documentation, and hands-on project monitoring in an expanding international engineering environment.

Required Skills

Education

Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician (Techniker) in the field of Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the maintenance of industrial plants and systems
  • Experience in creating technical specifications and operating manuals
  • Proven track record in supervising external service providers and contractors
  • Experience in monitoring construction progress and commissioning phases
  • Practical knowledge of SAP and SAP PM is preferred
