Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will take a central role in the planning and implementation of complex electrical wiring systems within the shipbuilding industry. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the end-to-end management of onboard cabling, from initial conceptual design to technical execution. You will be responsible for creating precise circuit diagrams and cable plans using EPLAN, ensuring all documentation meets strict industry standards and safety regulations. A key part of the role includes defining connection concepts based on device specifications while adhering to EMC guidelines. Beyond the design phase, you will actively support the commissioning process and perform hands-on troubleshooting to resolve system errors. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician or a degree/certification as a State-Certified Technician.

Experience

  • Extensive experience in creating electrotechnical documentation using EPLAN
  • Demonstrated experience in cable management and connection mapping according to technical specifications
  • Practical experience in system commissioning and technical fault finding
