You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of accounting and VAT, while leading the preparation of double-entry (Doppik) budgets and annual financial statements. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Public Administration / Public Management, or qualification for Career Group 2 (First Entry Level) in General Services, or Administrative Examination II. Further training as a Certified Municipal Accountant (Kommunale/r Bilanzbuchhalter/in) is required.
Experience
- Several years of relevant professional experience in municipal administration
- Extensive experience in municipal double-entry budgeting and accounting (Doppik)
- Proven experience in team leadership and financial oversight
- Experience in managing complex projects within a financial context

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Must have the right to work in Germany. Position requires attendance at external appointments using company vehicles.
