Job Summary
The Administration of the State Parliament of Saxony-Anhalt is seeking a First-Level Support Specialist to join their infrastructure team in Magdeburg. In this role, you will be at the heart of democracy, ensuring the smooth operation of parliamentary business by providing technical support to members of parliament, parliamentary groups, and administrative staff. Your daily responsibilities include equipping workstations, managing client systems and applications, and monitoring the parliament's information and communication technology. This position is ideal for service-oriented IT professionals who enjoy troubleshooting and system monitoring. The role offers a secure public service contract (TV-L E8) with a gross annual salary between €42,700 and €52,100, 30 days of vacation, flexible working hours, and a systematic onboarding process. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) in System Integration, Digital Networking, or Application Development; or a degree as an IT Assistant (Assistent für Informatik).
Experience
- Professional experience in IT support or system integration
- At least 1 year of relevant practical experience in the IT sector, specifically client administration, is preferred
- Experience in installation, configuration, and operation of iOS, IGEL OS, and Linux systems
- Experience in the administration of Office products
- Experience providing first-level support for virtual infrastructures
