Job Summary
As a Materials Tester based in Bochum, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure the integrity and quality of various industrial components. Your day-to-day activities will focus on performing Magnetic Particle Testing (MT2), Ultrasonic Testing (UT2), and Visual Testing (VT2). The ideal candidate will hold certifications according to DIN EN ISO 9712 and demonstrate a structured, goal-oriented approach to technical inspections. This position is particularly attractive due to its competitive hourly wage starting at €22.00 plus bonuses, the potential for permanent takeover by the client, and a comprehensive benefits package including up to 30 days of vacation and corporate discounts. Required Skills
Education
Certifications in MT, UT, and VT (Level 1 or 2) according to DIN EN ISO 9712 are required/desired.
Experience
- Professional experience in non-destructive materials testing
- Experience with MT2, UT2, and VT2 testing procedures
- Experience in operating cranes and securing loads is preferred
- Proven ability to work independently in a structured and goal-oriented manner
- Experience working in a multi-shift or continuous shift environment
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift or continuous shift system is mandatory. Possession of a forklift license and a driver's license with a private vehicle is considered an advantage but not strictly required.
