Job Summary

As a Metrology Technician, you will serve as the central point of contact for all departments regarding the application and procurement of testing equipment. Your daily responsibilities include organizing external calibration services, ensuring proper labeling of all measuring tools, and maintaining comprehensive documentation within a specialized database. You will develop calibration standards based on current guidelines (VDI/VDE/DGQ 2618) and support both internal and external audits through regular inspections. This role is highly impactful as you will monitor release processes, manage non-conforming equipment, and generate reports to identify optimization and cost-saving opportunities.
