Job Summary
As an IT Project and Demand Manager, you will take full end-to-end responsibility for IT projects, steering them from initiation through to go-live while maintaining control over scope, timing, budget, and quality. Your daily routine involves managing demands from various departments, conducting pre-qualifications regarding business value and effort, and orchestrating prioritization within the project portfolio. You will be the central figure for stakeholder management across all hierarchy levels, facilitating workshops and preparing decision-making materials for management committees. A key part of this role is the pragmatic development of PMO standards and the coordination of cross-functional IT processes like DevOps. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree, preferably in Business Informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik). Professional certifications such as PRINCE2, PMI/PMP, IPMA, Scrum Master, or SAFe are highly desirable.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in IT project management using classic, agile, or hybrid methodologies with proven results
- Extensive experience in IT demand and portfolio management including intake, prioritization, and capacity steering
- Practical routine in using Jira for planning and delivery (Epics, Stories, Roadmaps, and Boards)
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and risk management across hierarchical levels
- Experience in preparing management-level decision templates and portfolio reporting
- Experience in security or compliance-driven projects is preferred

- The role requires German language skills at a minimum C1 level. The position is a full-time, permanent contract (unbefristet). Candidates must be able to work within a mobile-work framework while maintaining a presence at the modern office location.
