As a Materials Tester in a forging environment, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of forged steel products. Your primary responsibility involves performing Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) to detect surface and near-surface defects, ensuring all components meet rigorous safety and performance standards. Beyond testing, you will operate and monitor advanced inspection, blasting, and robotic systems. The role also involves the logistical handling of heavy forged parts using industrial cranes and forklifts. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in a metalworking profession (e.g., Industrial Mechanic, Metal Worker, or Construction Mechanic) and MT1 certification (MT2 preferred).

Experience

  • Professional experience in metal processing or a related metalworking trade
  • Mandatory experience in Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) with MT1 certification
  • Experience in operating and monitoring industrial testing and blasting machinery
  • Proven track record of working independently with high quality standards in a production environment
