This role involves the non-destructive testing (NDT), examination, and documentation of engine components within the aerospace industry. Based in Langenhagen, you will be responsible for investigating damage cases for both new and fleet components, planning workflows, and selecting the most appropriate testing techniques based on technical and economic factors. You will coordinate laboratory investigations, link results to determine root causes, and document findings in technical reports. The position is highly collaborative, requiring close interaction with structural mechanics and project departments to evaluate how deviations impact component functionality. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Materials Tester or in a metalworking profession; NDT training courses according to DIN EN 4179 are desirable.

Experience

  • Professional experience in non-destructive testing (NDT/ZfP)
  • Experience in quality inspection and material analysis
  • Proven experience in structuring complex tasks and managing parallel projects
  • Experience in an aviation or aerospace environment is implied
