Job Summary
As the Maintenance Manager at BMG Möbel GmbH & Co. KG, you will lead a dedicated team of three technicians to ensure the seamless operation of wood processing machinery and facility infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the technical and disciplinary leadership of your staff, planning preventive maintenance schedules, and overseeing urgent repairs to maximize production uptime. You will act as a key decision-maker in optimizing maintenance processes and managing external service providers. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic or Electronics Technician, supplemented by a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician (Techniker) qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in maintenance and plant engineering
- Experience in the wood processing industry is highly preferred
- Proven experience in technical and disciplinary leadership of teams
- Extensive background in industrial mechanics or electronics
