Job Summary

This role involves managing road construction and civil engineering projects for the Marienheide municipal administration. As a key member of the Technical Services department, you will oversee road excavation management, monitor utility construction projects from initial inspection to final acceptance, and handle maintenance measures to ensure public safety. Your daily responsibilities include managing municipal facilities such as cemeteries, green spaces, and playgrounds, as well as organizing street cleaning and winter services. You will also contribute to budget planning and cost accounting for the municipal building yard. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys independent, solution-oriented work within a modern service-oriented administration. Required Skills

Education

State-certified Civil Engineering Technician, Master Road Builder (Straßenbaumeister), Master Road Maintenance Worker (Straßenwärtermeister), or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in road construction technology and relevant technical regulations
  • Experience in construction site supervision, including inspections and warranty acceptance
  • Proven track record in handling public complaints and stakeholder communication
  • Experience in budget planning and administrative cost-performance tracking
  • Practical knowledge of procurement law and technical standards in civil engineering
