Job Summary

This role involves the development of safety-critical, technologically advanced hardware for the aviation industry, specifically focusing on cabin systems and avionics. As a Layout Engineer, you will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept development and circuit design to certification and series production. You will work within agile, interdisciplinary teams to perform calculations, simulations, and hardware architecture design while ensuring compliance with strict aviation standards. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in electronics development
  • At least 3 years of experience in hardware application design for the aviation industry, preferably in safety-critical applications
  • Mandatory experience using the Cadence Allegro tool
  • Professional experience with aviation standards DO-254 and DO-160
  • Experience in requirements engineering and the verification/validation of development results
  • Fundamental knowledge of production and manufacturing processes
