Job Summary
As a Service Technician for POS Systems and Payment Terminals, you will be the primary technical contact for regional clients, primarily within the gastronomy sector. Your daily responsibilities include the on-site installation, commissioning, and configuration of Vectron POS systems and modern payment terminals. Beyond physical setup, you will provide essential customer support through initial training, telephone assistance, and remote maintenance. The role involves diagnosing technical faults and performing routine maintenance to ensure seamless business operations for clients. This position is ideal for those who enjoy a mix of technical hands-on work and direct customer interaction. It offers a high degree of autonomy, a supportive small-team environment, and the opportunity to work with industry-specific hardware and network technology in the Neusäß region.
Required Skills
Education
Technical qualification in IT, Electronics, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in technical service, IT support, or network technology
- Practical experience with POS systems and payment hardware is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in independent, customer-oriented field service
- Proven ability in technical error analysis and fault rectification
