Job Summary
This role involves conducting molecular genetic analyses within a modern laboratory environment at IFLb Berlin. As a key member of the Molecular Biology and Molecular Genetics team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end PCR diagnostic process, including sample preparation, DNA extraction, and the operation of sophisticated laboratory equipment. The position requires a high level of precision as you document results according to Quality Management (QM) standards and assist in optimizing laboratory methods. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Medical Laboratory Assistant (MTLA/MTA) or a university degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a comparable natural science field.
Experience
- Professional experience in molecular biological and molecular genetic diagnostics is preferred
- Experience in DNA extraction and PCR-based analytical methods
- Practical experience in laboratory equipment maintenance and operation
- Demonstrated experience working within structured Quality Management (QM) guidelines

- Must be able to work within a shift system between 08:00 and 21:00 (Monday to Friday). No weekend or public holiday service required.
