As a Communications Technician at Hertz Elektronik GmbH, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of professional radio systems, including digital and analog technologies. Your day-to-day activities involve the installation, programming, and maintenance of complex communication systems such as TETRA, BOS, and paging networks. You will play a critical role in system documentation, conducting factory acceptance tests, and providing technical support to project and sales managers. Beyond technical tasks, you will lead customer handovers and briefings, ensuring high service standards. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Systems Electronics Technician, Communications Electronics Technician, Radio/TV Technician, Telecommunications Technician, or Information Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems.
Experience
- Professional experience in communications technology or radio frequency engineering
- Experience in the assembly and maintenance of radio systems
- Proven track record in technical troubleshooting and equipment repair
- Experience in customer-facing service roles and technical instruction
- Background in working with emergency services (BOS) or industrial radio networks preferred
