Job Summary

This role involves the full lifecycle of FPGA development, from implementing complex image signal and data processing algorithms in VHDL to integrating FPGAs IPs for memory control and data transmission. You'll be responsible for simulating and verifying VHDL designs using automated testbenches and debugging with embedded FPGA IP-Cores. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Embedded Systems, coupled with initial experience in FPGA design workflows, including VHDL, simulation, integration, and verification. You should also possess strong communication and teamwork skills, a high degree of commitment, and a keen interest in developing functionally safe image processing systems.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a comparable field

Experience

  • Initial experience as an FPGA designer and in relevant workflows (VHDL, simulation, integration, verification)
  • Initial experience in timing analysis and constraining for high-speed systems
  • Experience in FPGA toolchains (Vitis Vivado) is a plus
  • Experience in microcontroller development and integration with FPGA-based systems is a plus
  • Experience in microcontroller design / Linux Device Tree Design for MPSoC-based system integration is a plus
