Job Summary
As a Chemical Laboratory Technician or Materials Tester within the R&D Material Testing department, you will play a critical role in the development and testing of reinforcement materials such as yarns and fabrics. Your daily responsibilities include performing tensile and shrinkage tests, T-tests, peel tests, and determining yarn twist and basis weight. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating test orders while ensuring all procedures comply with national and international standards. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys hands-on laboratory work and systematic documentation. The position offers the opportunity to work in a permanent, full-time capacity within the Original Equipment Solutions division, focusing on specialized materials like rubber and elastomers. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), Materials Tester, or a comparable laboratory-based qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the field of reinforcement materials (yarns and fabrics) is highly desirable
- Experience in performing mechanical tests such as tensile, shrinkage, and peel tests
- Practical experience in a laboratory environment following national and international standards
- Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating testing workflows and technical documentation
Languages

- Must have basic knowledge of materials and products specifically related to rubber, caoutchouc, and elastomers. Requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
